Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Edge Card collects and how we use it.
1. What we collect
- Email address: only if you subscribe to the free email list, so we can send you the cards. There are no accounts, and nothing else on this site asks you to identify yourself.
- Basic usage data: page views through a privacy-friendly analytics provider, plus a small first-party record of events like which pages were read and how far. It is cookieless, it stores no identifier for you, it never leaves our own domain, and it is switched off entirely if your browser sends Do Not Track. We do not track you across other sites and we do not sell data.
- Where you arrived from: if you followed a link here, we record the site that sent you (for example
twinspires.com) and any campaign tag in the address, so we can tell how many readers a placement actually sends. We record the site only, never the full address of the page you came from, and never anything that identifies you. This is switched off by Do Not Track like everything else.
We do not collect or store payment information, because there is nothing to pay for. Edge Card is free.
2. How we use it
To send the cards to people who asked for them, respond to you, and improve the Service. We do not sell your personal information, and we share it only with service providers who help us operate (email delivery and hosting) under their own terms.
3. Email
Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops them immediately (we comply with CAN-SPAM). The list is only used to send the cards and occasional notices about the Service itself.
4. Your choices (including California residents)
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may opt out of marketing at any time, by emailing us. California residents have rights under the CCPA, including to know, delete, and opt out of “sale”, and we do not sell personal information.
5. Retention and security
We keep your information only as long as needed to provide the Service or as required by law, and we use reasonable measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
6. Children
The Service is for adults (18+, 21+ where required). It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
7. Changes and contact
We may update this policy; changes are posted here with a new effective date. Questions or privacy requests: [email protected].
